    TICKET OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO YOU IF YOUR TRAVEL PLANS HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY RECENT TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS CHANGES

    As a result of the recent changes to Thailand's travel and entry requirements on 21st December 2021, we want to ensure we provide greater flexibility to passengers whose travel plans may be directly affected.

     

    These are the options available to you if your ticket was issued before 21st December 2021 (inclusive) and you were due to travel up to 28th February 2022:

     

    1.     Keep your ticket: change the dates of travel or extend the validity of your current ticket until 30th June 2022.

    2.     Change the route on your booking: reroute to other destination(s) on THAI's network and travel until 30th June 2022.

    3.     Cancel your booking: if your flight has been cancelled by THAI you can apply for a refund without a penalty fee. If your flight operates and you choose to cancel your booking, the relevant fees, if any, will apply.

     

    Booked through a travel agent? If you booked your ticket through a travel agent, you will need to contact them for assistance. THAI cannot action bookings made by travel agents under any circumstances.

    1. KEEP YOUR TICKET – TRAVEL WHEN YOU ARE READY

     

    THAI will waive the applicable change fee so you can change the dates of travel now or extend the validity of their ticket and rebook later when you are ready to do so, for travel up to 30th June 2022.

     

    Please note the following important information:

     

    - You can change the date of travel on the same route, in the same booking class or extend the ticket validity without the applicable change fees.

    - All travel must be completed by 30th June 2022.

    - Differences in fares, taxes and surcharges may apply.

     

    To rebook now:

     

    - If you have booked through a travel agent, please contact them directly.

     

    - If you booked through our website, please contact THAI ticketing office at Vibhavadi Rangsit and Suvarnabhumi airport or TCC (THAI Contact Center) Tel : 02-356-1111 or THAI Worldwide offices here with your request. If you contact our team you do not have to do anything else - they will get back to you as soon as they are able to process your request. 


    To extend your ticket and rebook later:

     

    - If you have booked through a travel agent, please contact them directly.

    - IIf you booked through our website, please contact THAI ticketing office at Vibhavadi Rangsit and Suvarnabhumi airport or TCC (THAI Contact Center) Tel : 02-356-1111 or THAI Worldwide offices here with your request. Once you are ready to book, you can contact the team again.

     

    If you have not showed up for a recent flight:

     

    We appreciate that you may have tried to contact us prior to your flight to make changes to your booking. Regrettably, due to the recent changes in travel requirements, our Customer Care teams are extremely busy, and it is taking longer than usual to assist all passengers.

     

    If you have not showed up for a recent flight, and if there is a record of you contacting THAI to change the dates of travel on your booking prior to the original time of departure, we will waive the applicable 'no-show' fees. 

     

     

    2. CHANGE THE ROUTE ON YOUR BOOKING

     

    THAI will waive the applicable rerouting fee so you can travel to other destination(s) on THAI's network to travel up to 30th June 2022.

     

    Should you wish to chose this option, please note the following important information:

     

    - You can change to travel to other destination(s) served by THAI, or THAI Smile (codeshare flights only), or by other partner airlines (codeshare or interline sectors only), issued on the same ticket.

    - All travel must be completed by 30th June 2022.

    - Differences in fares, taxes and surcharges may apply.

     

    To reroute your ticket:

     

    - If you have booked through a travel agent, please contact them directly.

    - If you booked through our website, please contact THAI ticketing office at Vibhavadi Rangsit and Suvarnabhumi airport or TCC (THAI Contact Center) Tel : 02-356-1111 or THAI Worldwide offices here with your request. If you contact our team you do not have to do anything else - they will get back to you as soon as they are able to process your request. 


    If you have not showed up for a recent flight:

    3. CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

     

    If your flight has been cancelled, you or your travel agent (if you booked through a third party) will have been notified of this. Please ensure you check the status of your itinerary through the "My Booking" section of our website. 

     

    If your flight has been cancelled by THAI and no suitable alternative has been offered, THAI will waive the relevant fee if you opt for a cancellation of the booking. Please note, that due to the extraordinary circumstances, all refunds are considerably delayed and regrettably, we are unable to provide with an exact processing timeframe. 

     

    If you opt to cancel a booking and your flight is or was in operation, the relevant cancellation fee as per the ticket's conditions will apply.
