Royal Orchid Prestige Lounge

Our airport lounges throughout Thailand and at selected international THAI destinations welcome eligible travelers to relax or work in comfort prior to departing to their destination.

ROYAL ORCHID LOUNGE AT CONCOURSE D

Our Royal Orchid Lounge at concourse D in Bangkok is a bright, colorful and airy space for relaxing or working prior to flight departure. It is also designed to be environmentally friendly with plastics being replaced by recyclable materials such as paper and bamboo to compliment the wide variety of food and beverage selections available in this lounge. We welcome travelers with THAI in Royal Silk Class and Star Alliance business class, Royal Orchid Plus Platinum and Gold status members and Star Alliance Gold status members.

  • Covers an area of 2,088.59 sq.m
  • The capacity to accommodate 463 passengers
  • Opening hours : 05:00 am. - 02:00 am.
  • Designated area for Royal Orchid Plus Platinum passengers( together with 2 private rooms)
  • 1 Private Room
  • Fresh Cooking Bar (with A la carte menu) and Beverage Bar (with Barista and Bartender)
  • Buffet Bar with variety of hot food, snacks and refreshment
  • Showers
  • Toilets with wheelchair accessibility and baby changing station
  • WiFi connectivity for personal devices and PCs with internet access and printers

THAI’s Royal Orchid Lounge at Concourse E - West in Bangkok and at our hubs in Thailand are designed as a haven for relaxing or working prior to flight departure. We welcome travelers with THAI in Royal Silk Class, Royal Orchid Plus Platinum andGold status members and Star Alliance Gold status members.

  • Covers an area of 667 sq.m
  • The capacity to accommodate 22 First Class and 66 Business Class passengers
  • Opening hours : 05:00 am. – 02:00 am.
  • Designated area for First Class Passengers
  • 2 Private Rooms
  • Buffet Bar with variety of food, snacks and refreshment
  • WiFi connectivity for personal devicesand 4 PCs with internet access
  • 7 Slumber Rooms
  • Showers
  • Toilets with Wheelchair Accessibility

Lounge Access

 

  • Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class travelers departing on a same day THAI operated flight
  • Star AllianceFirst Class and Business Class travelers departing on a same day THAI or Star Alliance operated flight
  • Royal Orchid Plus Platinum and Gold status members and Star Alliance Gold status cardholders departing on a same day THAI or Star Alliance operated flight. These top tier frequent flyer program members may have one accompanying guest provided they are also departing on a same day THAI or Star Alliance operated flight.
  • THAI Smile Airways is a subsidiary of Thai Airways but not a member of Star Alliance
  • Star Alliance Gold cardholders who have booked Thai Airways International flights operated by Thai Smile Airways are not entitled to access THAI Lounges.

 

LOUNGE ACCESS POLICES

  • 1. THAI Royal First Class passengers/Star Alliance First Class passengers with one guest travelling on the same flight.
  • 2. THAI Royal Silk Class passengers/ Star Alliance Business Class Passengers -No Eligible Guest is allowed, unless holding a Star Gold card
  • 3. Royal Orchid Plus Platinum/Royal Orchid Plus Gold status members and Star Alliance Gold status cardholders departing on a THAI or Star Alliance operating flight.
  •    • Customer is entitled to one Eligible Guest travelling on the same THAI/Star Alliance flight departing from the local airport
  •    • Gold Status Cardholders must present proof they hold SAG level status. This may be :
             o A valid frequent flyer programme SAG level card.
             o A Boarding Pass showing the SAG level status
  • 4. Thai Smile Airways’ Smile Plus passengers -No Eligible Guest is allowed
  • 5. Star Alliance Gold cardholders departing on a Thai Smile Airways operating flight (as a Star Connecting partner) must present boarding pass or itinerary to/from a same day (within 24 hours) connecting Star Alliance flight.
  • 6. Star Alliance Paid Lounge membership cards (Air Canada Maple Leaf Club – Worldwide and United Airlines United Club) departing on any THAI/Star Alliance flights.
  •    • Customer is entitled to one Eligible Guest travelling on a THAI/Star Alliance flight departing from the local airport
  • 7. Contracted customer airlines , subject to agreement conditions
