Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is holding activities to celebrate His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 67th Birthday.

Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, THAI President, said THAI is holding activities to celebrate His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 67th Birthday on 28 July 2019. The image of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana will be installed on the façade of Building 1 at THAI’s Head Office on this occasion.

THAI is holding a ceremony to pay royal tribute and show loyalty in front of His Majesty the King’s image, a mass ordination, and cattle-buffalo lives redemption in honor of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua.

On 28 July 2019, passengers traveling with THAI will be served special desserts. On outbound domestic flights, Thai pudding with pumpkin will be served in Royal Silk Class and Economy Class. On inbound domestic flights, Thai desserts “Look Chan” and “Hun Tra” will be served in Royal Silk Class and Thai pudding with Mango in Economy Class (except for TG226 from Phuket-Bangkok). On international flights (except flights departing to the Middle East, India, and Kuala Lumpur), Royal First Class passengers will be offered Passion Fruit Sphere Mousse with passion fruit ice cream. Royal Silk Class and Economy Class passengers will be served Passion Fruit and Peach Cake during lunch and dinner meal services. Grey sedge (krajood) travel kits will also be given to Royal Silk Class passengers traveling with THAI on outbound international flights that have a flight duration of over four hours, except for flights to Australia and New Zealand.

THAI employees, on behalf of Thailand’s Ministry of Transport, will also participate in a parade to show loyalty and celebrate the His Majesty the King’s birthday.
